What if I’m not able to pay my tax bill in full?

You can request for a monthly installment.  You’ll need to know what you can pay as a down payment and what amount you can commit to monthly (after the down payment is made).  Interest charges continue to accrue on the balance owed until it is paid off.

How long will it take you to complete my tax return?

If the information that is submitted to prepare your tax return is complete, it could take up to 1 week.  However, the turnaround time increases if additional follow-up is required to obtain missing or additional information.  We guarantee all tax returns to be complete by the tax deadline if your information packet is brought in by March 15th.  However, for any clients coming in after March 15th, do expect the possibility of your tax return being extended.  The extension allows us more time to prepare a complete and accurate tax return.  Our policy is to complete tax returns in the order they come in.

How do I know if I missed any deductions or tax credits on a prior tax return?

We offer a free review of your prior year tax return to ensure that all deductions and/or tax credits were claimed.

Are you able to amend a prior year tax return?

Yes.  There is a three year window from the date the tax return was filed to amend a tax return.  For example, if you filed your 2017 tax return on 4/15/18, you have until 4/15/21 to amend it.

I received a letter from the IRS.  Can you tell me what this is for?

Whenever notices are received from the IRS or State Tax Office, please email them to us at ([email protected]) or fax it to us at (808) 440-0387.  By looking at a copy of the correspondence, it will help us determine what steps to take next to resolve the issue.
